Questions

Ecommerce FAQ

Should I use WooCommerce or Shopify?

If you want the simplest possible setup and do not mind a monthly subscription and app fees, Shopify is solid. We build both and will tell you honestly which fits.

How much does Shopify cost per month?

As of 2026, Shopify Basic is $39 a month billed monthly or $29 a month billed yearly, Grow is $105 or $79, and Advanced is $399 or $299. If you use a payment processor other than Shopify Payments, Shopify adds 2%, 1% or 0.6% per sale depending on the plan. Most stores also pay for apps.

Is WooCommerce free?

The WooCommerce plugin itself is free. You pay for hosting, your domain, your payment processor’s normal card fees and any premium extensions you choose. There is no extra platform cut on your sales.

Can you move my store from Shopify to WooCommerce or the other way?

Yes. We migrate products, customers, orders and set up redirects so you keep your search rankings.

What do you set up in a new store?

Products and categories, payments, shipping rules, sales tax settings, order emails, inventory, product SEO, analytics and a checkout that works smoothly on phones.
